Summer Fit Camp 2025
Outdoor Group Fitness for Adults 40+ in Provo Starts Monday, June 2nd • Ends Friday, August 29th
✅ A Smart Way to Spend Your Summer
Ok, Fit Club—summer’s almost here, and we’re gearing up for three months of fun, functional, outdoor workouts designed to build strength, confidence, and consistency. If you're looking to establish a fitness habit that lasts well beyond Labor Day, this is your place to start.
Our goal? To finish the summer with more energy, mobility, and less pain in a healthier body—no gimmicks, short-cuts, or hyped-up fitness nonsense. Consistency and proven methods are the tools we will use to get us there safely and effectively.
🌳 Where We Train
Each month, we’ll feature a new Provo park with plenty of space, shade, and access to restrooms and water. After scouting several parks in Provo, here are the hidden gems I’ve found for us:
June – Paul Ream Wilderness Park
📍 1600 W 500 N, Provo, UT 84601Shaded groves, open grass, and pavilions make this an ideal starting location for baseline fitness testing and low-impact strength training.
July – Grandview Rotary Park
📍 1350 N 1600 W, Provo, UT 84604A more traditional park layout with fun park features and multiple terrain zones for advancing your training safely and progressively. (Side note: Pickleball is popular here)
August – Fort Utah Park
📍 200 N Geneva Rd, Provo, UT 84601Tucked beside a greenway trail, skate park, and bike pump track—ideal for end-of-summer movement challenges and creative functional workouts.
Special Events at Paul Ream Wilderness Park:
💪 Initial Workout (June 2) and the 1st workout of each month to check progress: Baseline fitness tests include blood pressure, timed push-ups, timed plank and a timed 1-mile walk/jog. We’ll properly warm up before the fitness testing.
🍔 Final Workout (August 29): End-of-summer BBQ + progress celebration
🕠 Class Schedule
Days: Monday • Wednesday • Friday
Time: 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm
Location: Varies by month (see above)
🏃♂️ What To Expect Each Class
Warm-Up (5 mins) – A dynamic, total-body warm-up to prep your joints, muscles, and mindset
Main Workout (20–30 mins) – Calisthenics-based strength and cardio, modifiable for beginner to advanced levels
HIIT Finisher (5 mins) – Optional, higher-intensity circuit to elevate your heart rate and metabolism
Cool-Down & Flexibility (10 mins) – Gentle stretching to improve recovery and reduce stress
You’ll be home by 6:30 with time to make dinner, take a hot bath, or queue up your favorite show—just how a grown adult should end their day.

New or returning exercisers looking for structure and accountability
Anyone wanting to feel better, move more efficiently, and build momentum towards a healthy habit

You’re only a couple of clicks away from getting on the roster! First, pick your pass below from two affordable options:
$49 Monthly Unlimited Pass to attend all workouts for the designated month. (Best value, just over $4/class.)
$7 Single Drop-In Pass* to attend any one (1) workout for the designated month.
*Note —If choosing the single pass, please use the contact form to tell me the date you are coming to class. There will be an attendance roster at the beginning of each class to account for all paid spots.
UPDATE 5/31/2025
As of 9:27am this morning, we still have zero sign-ups for our Provo Summer Fit Camp sessions. I’ll admit—that surprised me. I really thought there’d be more interest by now.
That said, this changes nothing about my mission to help midlifers and seniors move better, feel stronger, and age on their own terms. The tire-kickers and looky-loos have gone quiet, but I’m still showing up—because that’s what I do. I don’t measure my value by the size of the crowd, but by the consistency and integrity I bring to my craft.
So, here’s the pivot:
🏡 Summer Fit Camp is relocating to Springville, where my partner and I will soon be living full-time. It just makes sense to train in the community I’m becoming part of.
💪 I’ll still be at Paul Ream Park this Monday at 5:30pm for fitness testing—just in case someone from Provo shows up from a flyer or wants to join last-minute. But starting Wednesday, all workouts will take place at a Springville park (location TBA).
This is just the beginning. Keep watching. I’m not going anywhere.
